Tzarina-Nassor, actor and musician, founder of The Dock BTS videography, on set

Hey there!

Tzarina-Nassor, actor and musician, founder of The Dock BTS videography

I’m Tzarina-Nassor— that’s me in the picture! I’m happiest on set (as you can see…), in the rehearsal room, backstage or in the studio—basically anywhere the magic of making happens.

Honestly, it’s no surprise: I’ve been obsessed with behind‑the‑scenes magic since before I could even talk. I grew up watching How It’s Made on loop, totally mesmerised by the mechanics behind everything from crayons to jet engines—and that fascination quickly expanded to “making‑of” docs, cast interviews, and anything that peeled back the curtain on the world of film, TV, music and theatre.

As an actor and musician, I’ve witnessed so many “you-had-to-be-there” moments — bursts of hilarity, chaos, synchronicity — that it started to feel criminal not to share them. That gut feeling finally reached a boiling point during a recent show.

Picture this: a cramped backstage space (affectionately called the dock), where night after night we’d mutter, “God, I wish someone was filming this.” The moment that tipped me over? Watching one actor dramatically rev up an imaginary pullback toy car, while another provided sound effects using... a metal kazoo-like thing — seconds before they both chaotically charged onstage, audience none the wiser.

And so, The Dock was born — named after that tiny backstage wing, but also a nod to the digital “docks” where today’s behind-the-scenes content lives and breathes. We’re reimagining BTS capture — not just documenting it, but celebrating it.

We know that, now more than ever, documenting processes and people that are behind the scenes (or even, behind the ‘product’) is essential to the success and longevity of anyone or anything. However, audiences are over the over-polished inauthentic content grappling for their attention on a daily basis, and many creatives, artists, companies etc want to focus on their craft rather than becoming the next Christopher Nolan of content creation. That’s where we come in. The Dock does all the documenting in an organic and non-invasive way that allows you and your team to lock in, as if we were not even there. Therefore, putting forward your best and most authentic selves to the people you and your product seeks to connect with.

now for how it works…

(AKA, what on earth it is that we do)
