It’s our core service: candid behind-the-scenes footage captured while you work your magic. We film, you get the raw, high-quality files — ready to post, cut, share, or save for later. No edits, no frills — just the real moments.
No gimmicks. No wildlife lenses. Just you, doing what you do.
-
Absolutely. If there’s behind-the-scenes gold happening — we want to be there. Rehearsals, load-ins, tech runs, recording sessions, even press days — all fair game.
-
See our bookings page, and for more information on fee structure see our pricing page.
-
As early as you can — we book up fast, especially during peak production seasons. But don’t be shy about short notice — we’ll do our best to squeeze you in!
-
Yes! We’re London-based, but love a good field trip. Travel costs may apply if your project is outside our local zone, but we’ll keep things fair and transparent.

Catch & Release is all about giving you the raw, real material. But stay tuned for Catch & Cut service (coming soon 👀)…
-
Absolutely — that’s Catch & Sup, our optional content-sharing bolt-on. It’s totally complimentary and gives your project a little extra ripple online.
-
Yes! Wherever there’s creation, we’re there! Let us know what you’re working with — we’ll do our best to accommodate your budget.

Yes! You’re free to use your footage however you like for short-form content (socials, promos, reels, trailers, etc.). The only exception is long-form onscreen productions (feature films, docuseries, documentaries, TV series). In those cases, The Dock is considered a joint rights holder — meaning:
We’ll never use your footage without your permission.
You’ll need our permission to use Dock-captured footage in those long-form projects.
For everything else, you have full autonomy.
-
Absolutely! Sport is an essential part of the entertainment world, its inner workings deserve to be captured!
film & theatre
-
Absolutely — it’s where The Dock began. From rehearsal rooms and read-throughs to costume fittings, set builds, tech runs, and wrap nights, we’ll be there to catch the moments the audience never sees.
-
Yes, but only if your production team approves and it’s safe for both cast and crew. We’re discreet and work around your blocking, lighting, and stage management so we don’t interfere with the performance. Remember, we’re built to fit in the smallest of offstage docks!
-
Definitely. Whether you’re mounting a full West End run, an indie short, or a pop-up fringe piece, we’ll bring the same care and energy to your behind-the-scenes coverage — and we’re happy to discuss flexible rates for indie or non-profit work.
-
Absolutely. Whether it’s recording sessions, rehearsals, green rooms, tour prep, or even the chaotic joy of loading gear into a van at 2 a.m. — if it’s part of your creative process, we’ll capture it. We work with bands, solo artists, orchestras, and everyone in between.
-
Yes! We can catch those in-between moments before, during, and after a show — soundcheck antics, backstage hangs, side-stage perspectives, and crowd energy — all without getting in the way of your performance or your audience’s experience.
-
Of course. In fact, we love working with indie and emerging artists. We know every show, session, and release is a big deal, and we’re happy to work within flexible budgets where possible.
